Pu-erh tea is a post-fermented type of tea sourced mainly from ancient tea forests in the Yunan Province of China. Traditionally compressed in cakes or bricks, pu-erh is also available as a loose-tea and has a distinct earthy flavor and aroma which is very recognizable.
